As a photographer, every wedding offers its unique moments, but some are so breathtaking that they feel almost like a dream. Kayleigh and Luke’s wedding at Carlowrie Castle was exactly that—a flawless fusion of elegance, joy, and timeless beauty.

Carlowrie Castle, with its stunning architecture and lush grounds, set the stage for a day that would unfold like a fairytale. The castle’s grandeur made for a truly magical backdrop for Kayleigh and Luke’s special day. Every corner of the venue exuded history and charm, perfect for capturing intimate moments between the couple and their guests.
From the moment I saw Kayleigh step into her wedding dress, I knew it was going to be an incredible day. The Suzanne Neville gown, expertly styled by Rachel Scott Couture, was a vision of pure sophistication. The beautiful satin was luxurious fabric, and the way it flowed as she moved made it impossible to stop photographing. Can’t forget stepping into those Jimmy choos with the help of yours truly!!!! Kayleigh’s hair, styled by Claire Adamson, was an elegant updo that complemented her dress perfectly. Rachel Louise’s flawless makeup made her glow like a bride should.

Luke, dressed in a traditional kilt from Eight Yards, looked equally stunning. His deep connection to his heritage added another layer of beauty to their day. Furthermore, the joy on his face as he saw Kayleigh walk down the aisle was a moment I’ll never forget.

The Details
The flowers, arranged by Vicky’s Flowers, were a showstopper. Soft whites combined with rich greens brought an air of romance to the venue. The intricate flower arrangements were not only beautiful but also carefully chosen to reflect the couple’s personalities.
The cake, created by Zara’s Cakery, was another highlight of the day. A multi-tiered creation that balanced elegance and creativity, it was adorned with delicate floral details and complemented well
The ceremony took place at , SS John Cantius & Nicholas full of beautiful architecture and light that made for the most spectacular photos. The emotion in the air was palpable as Kayleigh and Luke exchanged vows. You could feel the love between them with every glance, every smile, and every word spoken.

Once the ceremony concluded, guests were treated to a reception filled with incredible entertainment. DJ Paddy’s beats set the tone for the evening, while Drums n Roses kept the energy high with their lively performance. The addition of saxophonist Trav Saxingh brought a soulful vibe to the celebration, and the beautiful sounds of pianist David McLeish filled the air, creating a truly magical atmosphere for all to enjoy.
